Perimenopause Support is a service provided by Chestnut Hypnotherapy. All polices and terms are identical.
Any reference to Chestnut Hypnotherapy should be interpreted to apply to any service accessed from this website.
All Agreements are made with Chestnut Hypnotherapy.
Commitment. Hypnotherapy, CBT NLP and Coaching are all interventions that rely on the commitment and motivation from both the therapist and the client to get the best results.
Part of the treatment occurs in the consulting room and part of the treatment is cognitive reflection or homework.
As the client, when you agree to undertake work with me you also agree to engage with the process, complete any homework that you are given and listen to the Download at appropriate times.
It is with commitment and partnership working that you will see the best results.
The effectiveness of hypnotherapy can vary greatly amongst individuals due to numerous factors beyond the hypnotherapists control.
Clients are expected to engage in the hypnotherapy process with realistic expectations and acknowledge that achieving desired results may require multiple sessions and personal commitment.
Clients should understand that the hypnotherapist is not a licensed medical professional, and hypnotherapy is not a substitute for medical treatment.
Cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice will cause the client to be liable for the full cost of the session.
Refunds can be made if clients book a multi session package. However the reduced session price is only applied if the therapy package is completed.
If the therapy package is not completed the full session price will be applied to each of the number of sessions attended.
Please note refunds for unused sessions will not given if a period of 1 month has passed since the payment was made.
Antisocial behaviour will cause the immediate cessation of the session.
Confidentiality will be maintained in all but the most exceptional circumstances.
These can only include: legal action (criminal or civil court cases where a court order is made demanding disclosure- includes coroners' courts) and where there is good cause to believe that not to disclose would cause danger or serious harm to others.
The sharing of anonymous case histories with supervisors and peer- support groups is not a breach of professional confidentiality.
Notes of the sessions will be kept and are available to the client with reasonable notice.

How does Heidi work?
Heidi is a helpful tool that allows your clinician to focus entirely on you during your visit while still allowing them to accurately capture relevant information, ensuring a comprehensive and precise record of your care.
Do I have to give consent?
Your consent is crucial. All clinicians are encouraged to obtain consent before using Heidi. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
Who has access to my information?
Heidi employs robust and strict access controls meaning only your clinician has access to sensitive information-We are GDPR and NHS compliant and our information management systems are also ISO27001 accredited for data security.
Where is my data stored?
We prioritise data sovereignty by ensuring all our data is locally hosted within the UK.
This practice enhances data security while also ensuring compliance with UK data protection regulations.
How is my data used?
Our approach to data collection is threefold:
Be Transparent: We clearly explain how we use your data in our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.
Limit Collection: We only collect data that is essential for providing you our services or enhancing Heidi's effectiveness.

Client Informed Consent Notice:
Before we proceed with your appointment, I want to inform you about an important aspect of how we document our consultations.
I utilise a note taking tool called Heidi to accurately and efficiently capture the details of our discussions and the outcomes of our appointments. Heidi ensures that we can focus more on our conversation and less on manual note taking, enhancing the quality of care you receive.
Your consent is crucial for us to use this technology. Please understand that your information will be handled with the utmost care, and Heidi’s use is aimed solely at improving your healthcare experience.
By signing this consent form, you are agreeing to allow your clinician to use Heidi during your consultation.
